Advice for slaying Zeus?

    Hello. I have been playing the new expansion for a while now, but have run into a bit of a problem. I cant seem to kill a Zeus titan. AA turrets cant stand up to it, ground AAA is too week. If I send in air superiority fighters, it just goes *ZAP* and my air force is gone.
    I know I must be missing something, as no one else seems to be having this problem. So my question is this, does anyone have any tips for combatting Zeus?

    Don't group up you fighters to much, Phoenix rip a Zeus apart.

    Timing is important.
    The Zeus prioritizes ground units, so wait until the Zeus is attacking ground and your fighters will be safe.

    Zeus is designed to destroy ground units and defense.
    It is impractical to use ground AA units or building to take out the Zeus.

    On the other hand, you can use T1 fighters to destroy the Zeus easily.
    If you have T2 fighters, it is even better.
    The fighters with the same metal can kill the Zeus very easily.
    If you are unable to bring down the Zeus, the fighters are just simply too few.

    In my experience, you can't play without the air units if the opponent is on the same planet with you.
    In this situation, Zeus is not a good titan to build.
    You better choose Ares or Atlas.

    But for multiple planets, Zeus is very good units to defend invasion from unit cannon or teleporter.
    Many players don't like to build the T2 fighters to cross the planet,
    so Zeus can easily sweep the ground force of invasion.

    Turn around the Zeus with your fighters, the Zeus have a lowest turn rate than the fighter so I can't target your unit fast enough.

    Orbital unit is not the real hard counter to Zeus since Zeus moves faster than orbital units.

    The fighter is the best option.
    They are cheaper, faster, and easy to be obtained.

    well orbital can protect key points, usually they attack your base with zeus, so you don't need something that move, because they are the one that attack you

    actually i don't like when an air unit is only countered with air, or in general when something have only one counter

    You can also counter a Zeus pretty well with a Ragnarok. There may be mild collateral damage though.

    I hear that a planet smash or anihilasor work well for this too.... 'when in doubt, blow up the planet' :p

    Well, the fighters already counter the Zeus very hard.
    And they are not even high tier units.
    If there are more counter units, the Zeus is completely useless.

    i mean i don't like hard counter at all, it's better to have multiple soft counter
    one example is omega vs avenger, omega becames useless, because of those pesky planes

    You also don't want too many counters though. The zeus is meant to be good against most ground units, so it kind of makes sense that air counters it fairly well. Though I do believe ground should have more long-rage AA...

    colonel is another good option, cost for cost they are far superior to zeus

    for the same cost you get same range better dps and greater health
