Are their plans in the future for having the ability to create custom planet types in a more direct or "advanced" way? not just randomly generated? My reason for asking this is that i want to create a planet type that has , lets say, a body of water/lava moat that isnt very wide but runs the whole diameter of the planet. that maybe has a land bridge or two in strategic locations. Being able to create planets in such a way that would allow this would add alot of creativity in planet design. Also Placing mass exactly where you want to as well, again not seemingly randomly generated. Your thoughts?

I can't wait for something like this. A real earth planet to destroy just sounds like jolly good fun.
Although this is slightly different, there is some good work being done on creating more varied features on planets that looks awesome: https://forums.uberent.com/threads/wip-custom-planet-type-cliffs.60787/page-2#post-946865 Things like proper cliffs will really help with being able to create choke points and such.
This topic has been discussed several time i know. Does Uber gives their point of view about a custom planet editor ? If not, Uber could you give it ? IMO it is very required. I don't want to minimize the quality of the planet generator, but the map creation is a part of a RTS game, especially in e-sport.
