The advanced orbital radar seems a bit OP. 1 satellite cannot cover an entire globe. What I'd like to see is that the advanced orbital radar only disable FoW for a cone under it, but also gain an ability to scan other planets and reveal a cone on them. This would cost extra power and remove the cone of view it had on the local planet. More simply put, it would be cool if you could aim the orbital radar at another planet to see if an enemy has expanded there. Any thoughts on this?

I agree that any satellite should only be able to cover one side of a planet.

As for an ability to scan other planets, I support this idea heartily, but I think it should be a separate structure or unit.

It's already on our list. :) But we don't currently have a way to limit the field like that.

Is it possible to make the orbital radar mimic the effect of the sun? As in give a view of everything it sees and the difference of advanced and normal is that advanced gives a view of other planets and moons which are also in view and can be moved through space and placed anywhere.
