allow the attacks that can be used in the air to work properly, mainly the grapples and the Assault charge ability. ideally, it would work somewhere like Halo:Reach's aerial backstabs where the models would sync up (like they do on the ground otherwise) and do a cool animation mid-air.
I would agree with this if it did significantly less damage. Otherwise that would make the assault and assassin monstrously OP if they could grapple in mid-air with full damage. Even the sniper would be a pain to deal with. *imagines aerial gunner grapple* :lol:
I'm iffy on this one - I believe one of the protips was something like "jump to avoid grapples." This means that the intended effect was to only have grapples work on solid ground, which would make sense. You don't see too many people pulling off a full Sniper golf-swing while 2-3 feet off the ground. Maybe AZO can do it, though.
