How about adding more in-game voice? I do not want unit voice but I believe that it will be awesome if there is some voice notification for specific event such as "Planetary Bombardment Initiated" or "You are taking heavy damage", with not in cold, unfeeling voice, but fiery and passionate voice like John Patrick Lowrie or Announcer of MNC series. Do you guys have any idea?

yeah I would like to have more audio notifications than in Supreme Commander, where only Nuclear Launches and ACU under attack was notified by voice. There could be several audio notifications for both economic situations and battles, attacks and so on. But it should be customizable what each player wants to hear. Maybe too many notifications will get annoying?

I think that this is quite an important point for consideration. The amount of announcements will obviously lie somewhere between "loads" and "none".
Too many, and it will start to get annoying and start seeming like you are being talked through the entire game. You don't want alerts for, "Factory has finished upgrading" or "Your forces are under attack" (StarCraft, I'm looking at you), or map pings for every unit that gets built, particularly at the scale we are looking at.
On the other hand, some notifications are important pieces of information a player would otherwise have to continuously be checking conciously - which could itself get annoying and tedious - if there weren't notifications for it. In particular, SupCom's "Commander under attack" alert and "Strategic launch detected" not just allowed the player the chance to do something about it immediately, but if they couldn't, also gave them a moment of stunned horror before the following ACU/nuke fireball.

PA however will be on an even greater scale than FA. I think that this merits a few more alerts - but not too many. Here's my thoughts:

    Commander taking damage
    Nuclear missile launch
    KEW on collision trajectory
Weapon of mass destruction attack on base (obviously, depending on how WMDs are implemented; would include for example interplanetary artillery hitting a base)
Enemy forces arrived on planet (if enemy is detected on a previously uncontested world)

I think that some of these alerts - with map pings as appropriate as to where units are being attacked - are necessary if you are not to end up in a situation where interplanetary nukes/artillery/raiding forces and the like have annihilated a main production/resource world that you thought was safe, without you ever realising your bases were being slowly destroyed.
I know that players who attempt a sneaky strategy of attacking vulnerable parts of an enemy's territory should not be penalised, but when the nukes/shells start flying, the other player should know immediately, and it should not be dependent just on them happening to glance over to see buildings on their world slowly being razed to the ground.

    Any thoughts on this?

I prefear if the keep the announcements to a minimal (not removing them, but not have more then a small amount of them), like supcom.

Only for the realy important stuff that you needs to be aware of.

some examples I would think off:

    1. Commander under attack (obviously needed)
    2. Strategic launch detected
    3. Mass depleted (only if you have 0 mass and are spending more than 130% of your income, and only once in 2 minutes max)
    4. same for energy
    5. Experimental detected (if the game will have experimentals)
    6. interplanetary launch detected (if the player has build a special detecting building?)
    7. Unit cap reached
    8. and maybe some taunts like in SupCom 1, but only limited per player per minute :p
    9. mass storage full, energy storage full (only once per 2 minutes)
    10. planet destroyed? "own" planet destroyed? moon destroyed? asteroid destroyed?

all of this of course should be customizable. if I dont want to hear about eco, I want to turn it off.

The voice cannot have personality or character. There's been sensible suggestions so far, which I think I'd find very useful.

Please no announcements that an opponent has built something, revealing his position to all in the session.

Keep announcements to things only in your/team's visual range.

For the strategic launch detected voice, can we have a more manly Harkonnen like voice then the general EVA or cortana voice.

Its getting to be a little overused and stereotypical to always have a woman do the advisor voice.
