This game is crazy addicting but i think it could be even better if they added a CTF (capture the flag) mode. Its already set up perfectly for it all they need to do is add the flags. anyone else think this would be a good addition to the game?
Ask this to yourself, Where would the bots and turrets come in? If the answer is "They won't be in the mode" then there might be a problem.
You misunderstand me, I am saying that if bots and turrets are not in any new modes then the spirit of the game is lost.
I'm saying ctf, with nothing changed except the objective, can play perfectly fine with bots and turrets. Except, whenever they reach the enemy base they'll focus on destroying turrets and killing players, allowing you to get the flag in the confusion.
How does that stop a Assassin from sneaking and and grabbing the flag at the start of the game? The bots have to do something to make stealing the flag possible, like blow up a gate or something.
Fine, put a shield cell around the flag which the bots must break. Perhaps add a sensor tower that can detect a cloaked assasin and concentrates fire from nearby turrets on enemy pros.
How about, the flag is in a shield also, and the bots ahve to destroy it and then instead of destroying a moneyball u have to bring the flag to ur base!
This, there's no real point to bots in this game except to take down the money ball shields, they're fairly easy to take out and don't contribute much to assists and kills. I like the blowin up the gate idea though to get to the flag, CL3VARZ!!!
Stealth would be disabled once you have the flag. An icon could be added to mark where the player is. The bots around the flag could always turn their attention to defending it. I think the idea could work pretty well, personally. But just for fun, what if the bots were the ones that captured the flag and carried it back? The more they have carrying it, the faster the move. Ala Fat Princess. That could be a lot of fun, with players escorting their bots back to the base, but unable to directly carry the flag. Or moneyball rather than a flag.. Another game mode I thought could be cool is a Piggy Bank mode. Players must make the choice between spending the money on skills/bots/turrets and depositing their money into their money ball. The team with the most banked money by the end wins. Bots would start destroying the banked money, once they dogpile the opposing team's moneyball.
exactly what i was thinking. the assassin could use her invisability to get over to the flag but once she is there and picks up the flag she can no longer go invisiable and there would be an icon on everyones map showing where she is. and as for the money ball they could have to it where lets say there was 3 flag caps to win a game every time a team captures a flag the other teams money ball drops a little bit untill all 3 flags are caped and then the other teams moneyball will explode. the bots are fine as they are they can just go around killing the people and turrets. they wouldent have to change much to add this in which is why i think its a really good idea.
or like said before each flag could start out with a sheild around it that must first be brought down before anyone could go and get it.
