I tried reporting a post that I haven't reported yet, and received an error saying this post has already been reported. Are posts only allowed to be reported by one person?

I get the impression that reports are 1 per post, so in essence yes, only one person can report.

hmm okay I do feel it'd be best to allow one report per person but as long as it gets the job done. I think the post was edited/deleted anyway so I guess it does work.

actually how are these handled? I take it you mods can see the users posts that are reported correct?

Yeah, we see everything about everyone involved. We address the problem and close the reports when we're done. There's a few currently there I don't really think need action, but others still might want to get involved. The just plain wrong ones get cacked.

Does that mean that the admins never see them?

There is a record of EVERYTHING we do. Every single decision we make is listed. Every edit, deleted post, warning, ban...

So someone is watching the watchmen?

Seriously though when we report a post there's an option to be updated when it's resolved or something like that. Is that true, do the people that report posts get informed if something is done?

I don't know. I have seen said feature on another forum with phpBB but it didn't work. Most of the time when I edit something or close a thread I will leave a short note why. Unless it was obvious.
