I think a great gameplay mechanic that could be implemented into PA would be the ability to queue up structure actions.

For example: Say i am playing a long game of SupCom2 and I have prepared a LOL nuke (If you don't know what that is, youtube it.) Instead of having the conventional selecting one spot for all the nukes in the LOL to hit I am able to queue the structures so they retain the LOL pattern when they hit and will all launch at the same time when I tell them. Instead of firing them at different times and having it destroy the LOL shape.
(Remember, this is just a goofy example)

Another thing could be is a grid pattern for nukes or other similar structures. So if you have multiple nukes you can have them hit in a grid instead of all onto one tiny point.

    Would this be something worthwhile?

Sounds like a trick for the UI mods!

Could it be simply solved by adding a hold fire button (like most offensive units)? This still allows orders to be queued, but they wont fire unless hold fire is turned off (which can be done all at once).
