A few n00b questions

    Isn't lvl 3 cloak suppose to make all shurikens do crit damage? I know it doesn't state that in the skill selection but i don't understand why sometimes ill shoot a full clip of crits and other times i don't.

    Is assault lvl 3 passive worth upgrading if you expect a 10+ min match? I don't know if it's just me but when I do upgrade it sometimes I feel blind to it's effects.

    Is there a reason why matchmaking lobbies with no parties tend to put people who have remained in the game the longest on the same team? I have the same people on my team for 10+ games in a row

    Why do bots sometimes spawn with only 1/4th health?

    Do private match stats still count after the patch?

    Assassins get a very short time of full crit when they come out of level 3 cloak. Giving them an advantage for out-of-cloak attacking.

    Everything is worth upgrading if you understand how to use it and it fits your play style.

    Bots spawn with less health if your Moneyball shields are down. There is a ProTip about this, I believe.

    Thanks this helps a lot. Any reason why this is not noted in the skill selection screen?

    I disagree with this and I could name a couple skills and skill levels that are not worth their price and others that are virtually useless in crossfire. It doesn't specify how much crit increase for $400 and it could be 2% for all I know.

    Thanks this clears things up as well. Weird I never noticed it on loading screen considering how much I play.

    I assume you have no plans on changing this. I applaud you guys for deleting hacked scores. Any plans to deter private match kill farming?

    Also, are the same teams in matchmaking an intended feature? I really would like random teams and I think it would help with the problem of people from quitting out if they're not stuck playing the same team that just beat them the game before.

    They may not be worth it to you, but they would to someone with a different play style and all skills have to work in both Blitz and Crossfire, some skills may be more useful in one or the other

    We continue to look into it, it's hard choice to make, you don't want to lock out the people who like playing private matches from getting all the rewards from playing.

    We are always trying to improve our matchmaking, it's hard to say if some of our changes are actually going to make a difference until we get a lot of people in and playing it, so I can't say definitively if you'll notice a difference.

    Nope. Well, yes, we forgot to add it.

    Some skills may not be as good as others for most people, but they're all useful. As for % numbers, as a rule we done like to give out real numbers for anything for a couple of reasons. For skill descriptions specifically if we change the numbers we have to deal with translation of that text again.

    I think he was talking about private matches. Once teams are made it stays that way unless you quit and come back.

    Does this work for the sword and or lunge attacks?

    I would love numbers for just the crit endorsement, I currently never run it on any class EVER

    Mainly because it does not seem to do anything at all......The chance is either very low or the multiplier on crits isn't very good?

    Sword/Dagger attacks for sure, that was the main point.
    I'll have to look into lunge attacks, not sure if they do. I can say that the lunge is sufficiently long enough for the effect to wear off by the time it ends, but lunges can be cut short if you hit someone you're lunging towards.

    I understood what your point was but there is definitely skills the majority of experienced players don't use when they could just build up their juice cycle. However, I think we could see changes depending on how significant the juice nerf is.

    I understand but it also takes away the reward from people who get them legitimately when anybody can easily cheat the system. I honestly do not know anyone who utilizes the private match system and I don't think players that participate in a few private matches would really mind.

    I know a lot of people have requested for playlists and I don't think i've read a response from you guys about it. I know you guys still have some stuff to roll out the rest of this week but I definitely think a game that is so team-oriented could benefit from it. Have you guys considered them at all?

    Also, I have an understanding that you play a big part in balancing the gameplay which is awesome. All of the classes were very well balanced out of the box and the minor tweaks in the future patch make sense. I use all the classes in this game and have fun with them. Playing online shooters for over a decade I have suffered through quite a few games where one weapon, strategy, team, class, etc. was too overpowered which rendered playing with anything else useless. My hat goes off to your ninja like balancing skills :) .

    I see that as a good sign. If they had ruled it out, I would assume they would say so. Not commenting on it at all leads me to believe that something is already in the works.

    What do you mean by "playlists"? Crossfire is a playlist.

    We mean additional playlists. Specifically those that might limit players under or over a certain level. (All-Star Playlist?)

    So you want to split up the small number of games we have into smaller chunks?
    That's why we haven't added additional playlists.

    And level limits seem weird. Level is just a reflection of how much you've played, not how good you are.
