* How do you manage your forces on two different planets at the same time? * How do you work that secondary mini-screen too? The PiP screen? * Is there any reason to not just rush to building T2 buildings and units, all but skipping the most basic T1's? * I am also having a terrible time trying to manage my orbital units quickly. It takes me forever to determine what is one the ground vs. what is in orbit. Then additionally, if there are several orbital units clumped together it takes me forever to tease them apart and find what I'm looking for. Can anyone give me some tips for this? * I run the game 2560x1600 and the text and everything is beyond tiny. Is there a way I can make the text and/or the interface larger without changing how much I see in battles? Thanks!
1- it about experience and game situation 2- you can watch tutorials about this, and on other stuff at http://pamatches.com/ 3- it is based on what happening in your game, sometimes it risky to rush to T2 that is all what questions i can answer. you can also see this thread too,(it will point on interesting threads): https://forums.uberent.com/threads/the-useful-thread-sticky-compilation.55834/
I use Camera anchors, not PiP, because my computer cannot handle PiP for long period of time. I think it's faster, imho. The key is to switch between planets often and set up longer build queues. If you neglect a planet, you might lose it before long. There's a button that looks like a square within a square in the bottom right hand corner. Click that for instant PiP! The short answer is None whatsoever. The long answer is that you have to be really good at eco management to pull it off. Otherwise, there really is no reason to use T1. These videos are a little outdated, but they still cover a lot of the little things that needs to be learned about orbital to be good at it: There is a Zoom mod that Cola_Colin has made. Lemme link it. https://forums.uberent.com/threads/rel-scale-ui.60092/
