69721 linux spectator broken

so in 69721 does anyone else have an issue when spectating a game that no units are visible.

normal gameplay is fine
replay is fine
spectator doesn't show units, you can see econ, and army stats, but no units on the map.
(i searched and didn't see any threads like this)

Yes I get the same problem on Windows 7

I can also say that this is happening on my Windows 7 Machine.

Observed the same issue on 69994.

This is a problem with joining an in-progress game as a spectator. You are not given vision of any or all teams, and do not have permission to activate vision of anyone. You can tell this looking at the eye icons in the stats hud (you can then check by trying to activate them).
