5 V 5 "Random Captain" Tournament

I am wanting to make a new Random Based Tournament.
What I have come up with, is that nobody liked the aspect of having a complete random person they have probably never played with on their team, but I don't wanna be a total coy cat and make another draft tourney, exactly like"The Cougs" is hosting. So I decided why not make the captains random. So we still have a randomish aspect (that I personally find exciting), and once each entry is drafted I will make brackets.

Q. Why 5v5?

A. Because 6 is too many people to gather up, and 4 makes for a bad game.

Q. Will this interfere with the "MNC Draft Edition Tournament"?

A. No, I am making sure this will not interfere with "The Coug's" Draft Tourney.

this seems VERY similar to "the coug" coug's tournament. since he plans to make his tournaments semi regular(i believe) something new may be needed.
2v2 would be interesting, as long as it was restricted to smaller maps.

That's so wrong. And also do you know how guys look at me when I tell them I play games let alone MNC. I get 2 reactions- 1) I am a nerd or 2) they drool all over themselves. Why is it so strange that girls game? I think thats why I like you guys I dont get a hit on that much. Haha

Anyway...I'd like to hop in on this.

It's not strange that girls game. It's more that the majority of guys who spend a lot of time on xbox are socially inept when it comes to talking to the fairer sex so they get all nervous about it. There are a lot more girls that game than most guys think. I do think, however, that a lot of them don't get into competitive online gaming(which may be because of the reaction you said.) and that might be part of why they are like "Hurr durr boobies."

I could see why the whole thing would be pretty off putting if I was a girl. It should say something to the quality of a guy that all they have to base their opinion of you on is how you perform in an online game and that they would immediately start trying to display their manliatude(is that a word? it should be.) to you just because you're a girl. Pretty sad!

Also, on topic, I would be down for this too. There, at least my whole post wasn't a sociological rant. Just most of it.
