Heard there may have been a third too in Florida but not sure if there was any connection to any 4chan boards on that one.
There was a proposes threat in Germany, someone's making calls to warn them. And then there was also another warning sent to a Virginia university. I believe the OP said it was a joke after the police were contacted, but I dunno.
It sounds like the guy that shot up a school would have done it anyways. At least by posting on 4chan there was a shot at him being stopped. Without a sufficiently fucked up place where people feel they can post things like that there wouldn't even be that chance. 4chan has stopped some pretty horrible stuff in the past too. That usually involves animal cruelty instead of murder, but still. And there are definitely less bad boards. /b/ and /r9k/ are easily the worst, while boards like /wg/ and some text boards are relatively harmless. At least that was the case when I was in high school. It's been years since I've even looked at the site.
