I know this belongs in the off-topic forum, but it won't get any views there and I'd appreciate a quick response. I was looking forward to the new Razer Onza controller, but I just found out that it doesn't support my headset, and only has a 2.5mm jack. I wanted to know if there is an adapter for my headset to plug into the controller, or if there is another very good controller like this one.
I don't have any real answer for your question, but I do have an observation. You don't mention what headset you have that you're trying to use and why it won't work with the Razor controller. The normal Xbox 360 controller uses a 2.5mm jack for its microphone headset as well.
I'm using the turtle beach X1, which has the 1st generation connection, which is the same as the chatpad, etc. I looked on the Onza controller and it has what is basically a headphone jack, which the new standard 360 headsets have. If there was an adapter, that would be great.
They mentioned Q3 initially, then announced in early August that it would be late September, early October, but nothing official yet. I'm really getting antsy about it.
