Okay so i know there is already a thread about this, but it wont let me open it, it says i dont have permission.

I have a 32bit OS, and id really like to play this game, i know there is a hack that gets me half a gig extra of ram to work with, and im hoping ill be able to play at least with that until the game is optimized.

    Help would be fantastic, thanks.

I don't know about any hacks but you really should be running on a 64bit OS.

If you really don't want to pay for a valid windows key you can download 64 bit linux for free. Of course this only works if you actually have more than 3-4 GB of physical memory. If you do not then no amount of hacking will get you more RAM, there just isn't any more.

If you really must run on 32bit, your only real hope is to close all unnecessary RAM intensive processes (you can open task manager (ctrl + shift + esc or ctrl + alt + del) and switch to the process tab. click on the memory tab to sort by RAM usage.) If anything is using more than 100 MB of RAM, find out what it is and see if it is safe to kill. Common hogs of memory are web browsers (especially firefox) and anti-virus software, neither of which are needed to play this game.

Play on small systems on small planets.
