2 planet systems in GW - not making any sense now

    1 big planet and 1 small halleyeable planet. It ws tottaly understandable with craters and stuff, but now it does not make any sense, because planetary collisions result in immediate annihilation of both planets now.

    Also, i don't feel like reading all that asteroid and crater disscusion, is it possible to put crater on the planet and make it completely not pathable?

    I guess the answer is: Don't use Halleys. Two planet systems still make sense but using a Halley doesn't. The only possible thing I can think of is to load your commander to an Astreus, send him to the destination planet, then launch the small planet into the big one while your commander is making the trip, assuming that the commander doesn't beat the planet to their mutual destination. Requires some precise timing.
