Is this normal and what everyone else is experiencing? I haven't timed it but I'm being conservative in my estimate. I reckon it's more like 15 - 20 minutes.
check the size of the system the game is loaded (how many planets) that all adds to the load time. a system containing 2 scale 2 planets will take about 5-mins , on my end . anything over that just overloads the pc and crashes
similar problems here, i dont think its the graphics card. i'm using AMD latest drivers and had no problems with the Alpha. games are taking 10 mins to load and by that time half the players have disconnected.
Definitely too long. Playing a game is becoming rare, as players leave before the end (I tend to do it as well when it's way too long).
