I feel like it would be a great counter if nukes could destroy asteroids similar to how Anti-nukes target right now.
I certainly don't *expect* it... for me it was just more of a fun brain game to imagine the best way to do it.
Earlier in the thread it was suggested that asteroids cripple a planet without completely destroying it and reserving total planetary annihilation...
Obviously you don't send it *at* light speed. That's impossible. But you could convert the mass of the universe into energy to accelerate one...
If your satellites are traveling near light speed why build nukes? Even an avenger or radar satellite would hit like a planet smash.
I completely and 100% disagree. The reason I love the limited tech sets is because I DON'T have the "the best unit in this situation". As you said...
Except that I really don't play custom maps and I prefer the mini-meta over the "fuel-pumped" gameplay. I'd rather have the variety of GW over...
This is fair, and I agree, anyone trying to rub it in would be an asshat. Even as flawed as GW is I still prefer it over skirmish or multiplayer...
It would be great if we had that dynamic feeling of taking and losing ground. No retreat and attack only means the game only flows in one direction...
You are welcome to keep suggesting as such, but it's still not the answer everyone wants. I liked the *orbital* changes in OWOM, but I felt the...
Sure, it works, but it's amazingly unsatisfying. I'd rather the game be fun.
Late game (once I control a moon or two usually) I try and build a couple energy storage fields. Just a few extractors laying out a few grids of...
They do now (just a version or two ago the range and cost were much closer to each other), and it helps, but it only helps once you've already...
There is plenty of room to design stalemate breakers without completely invalidating ground forces in the late game. I already dislike that T2 units...
I have. I really like a lot of the mod, but I distinctly dislike the Hailfire and super-charged SXX. I am not a fan of orbital having such a...
I really like the change to the deep space radar. It makes me want an anti-celestial defense... Like a tact missile that launches from orbit to hit...
I'm not sure, but I get the impression the idea of the JIG is that it collects hydrogen from the gas giant and then uses fusion to make metal. The...
:) Never be ashamed to admit you can recognize something good when you see it, and if it's the best one you know then don't hesitate to use it until...
I'm looking at T1 as 12 and T2 as 6. The prices of everything T2 would need to be adjusted, but one of the goals is to make T2 supplement T1...
No matter what else happens I'm completely convinced jigs should not generate power and possibly draw it. It would be interesting if the Gass giant...
