UBER, please allow planet tilt in the system editor

    I was thinking about this last night. I would like to be able to do this but not so much for the reason referred in your other post. I also feel like this would cause more complications than it's worth so I can wait if they ever decide on this.

    why?

    I mean, shi t, the metal planet rotates LIVE, complete with base, units and orbital, to shoot another planet. surely is just a stat like any other in the game.

    I want it so that my incidental collisions can chop off the part of the planet I want. e.g: ripping off the north pole of a metal planet.

    Metal deposits change based on how many players are in the game now so that wouldn't work well. (Although I would like that too)

    To add to that, why not make the orbits more 3d? Currently orbits are on a flat plane

    for some weird reason people thought it would mess with their game even though it would be constrained to the the system editor systems.

    Anyways it seems like it's about time this be brought up again according to @garat's coment so I'm glad you mention it.

    This is literally a feature, that depends on a wild arse change to another thing.

    That being said, I don't support the wild arse change, so I don't support the feature either.

    Except in the distant future. Because planets that orbit on it's poles and spin as well, are visually gorgeous. I miss the few I saw from Ur Quan Masters, ones completely 80-90 degree tilts.

    I don't get exactly what you mean?

    I'm saying have a slider in the system editor is all. in never said to change anything about the default random systems.

    (which would thusly stay the same)
