    New matchmaking code + new maps are online. If you encounter issues I am very interested into them!

    EDIT:
    @raptorsupcom
    @pilotrose

    You guys seemed to have issues. In my log it looks like you the host PA client could not correctly create a game?
    Can you comment on that? What exactly did the system tell you?

    Who decided to put that massive Star Wars system in 1v1?

    I did, since nobody, since DAYS, has been able to point me at a single map that is not a plain moon.
    Are moons really the only planets anyone can play?
    I'll be happy to put in any maps anyone has to offer really.

    EDIT:
    In case somebody has errors, to give me a perfect insight it would be cool if you can open the debugger (i.e. mine is here: "E:\Games\PA\Planetary Annihilation\stable\Coherent\Debugger\Debugger.exe"), open the "Game Browser" go to console, mark everything and paste that text somewhere I can read it

    The taxman lava map that elodea used in The cheese tournament is a nice map. Changes up the standard build too.
    reptarking and mishtakashi like this.

    we need more maps... if it wasn't so hard to find one :(

    I don't mind the seed thing meaning you have to try a few options but it would be nice to see spawns and mex from the system editor

    Agreed, moons can be pretty samey. I will have a look at some lava planets and come back to you when I find a decent one. I think they have the best potential for interesting games.

    I wouldn't include Moon Kissing because, unless you know ahead of time, you're going to lose in a silly way. Matchmaking should focus on strong, fair, competitive maps. The silly maps should be kept for other things.

    You lose once in a silly way. Tbh I think a mappool is meant to be somewhat remembered. Get away from the "all maps are the same" thing to a situation where it actually matters what map you play. A map that you remember as "the moon dropped on my head" is perfect for that imho.

    Agree with quitch. Pretty idiotic to have this system in the list. Doesn't the planet hit the same spot everytime? Surely we have better options to make games memorable?

    Edit: a map with fewer than 50 metal spots but a lot of trees to see some combat fabber reclaim and snipe games.

    Ehm, if it wasn't this hard to make fair maps i would have supplied you with some more. Usually you spend hours testing and end up without succes.

    So the fix wasn't fast, but I have fixed the dataset by hand, once the ladder reloads the data it should be fixed there as well.

    Thanks. But if you fixed it by hand, does this mean this could occur again, and I should be on the lookout for it?

    Hm for some reason the pastats ranked games haven't been showing up on the ladder history. It seems to have only just started about four or five hours ago. Just thought someone should know.

    It looks fixed to me now? Any examples of games that are still not visible?

    Draw detection is pretty much a dicerole, it may work or it may not work. Try to avoid draws :p
