Meh. I'll give it a go. Couldn't hurt to give it a try anyway.

The recommended defaults would create a gigantic pageing file on my small C: SSD and never really use it. Systems with a lot of RAM don't actually need that much virtual memory, but a little buffer is always a good idea.

It's might be true when you have 16GB RAM, but some guys have 8GB and they have some bunch of Windows crapware running in background: useless control panels, updaters, some hardware manufacturers monitor tools and also they leave their browser, chat software and torrent client work in the background and also keep Steam running. All this together with OS might easily eat 4GB alone and normally most of these 4GB always remain in swap.

With low swap and swap disabled it's just crash when they trying to run PA.

As I wrote systems with a lot of RAM. 8GB isn't a lot. 16GB is sorta more. I wish I had 32GB recently...

I have bought 32GB recently for about $300 and it's totally worth it. :)
Can finally leave virtual machine in background and not think about that.
