I was going to fire my own nukes, I just had to prevent just 1 nuke from getting through. So what gives antinuke!??! Video follows. What went wrong with BOTH antinukes, ESPECIALLY the second?
PTE lol that would be helpful if I mentioned that. Yep. 71609 Galactic war too, although I don't think much supposed to change with antinukes on GW.
Ok. I saw something similar, but wasn't able to repro. Will go on the list to investigate first thing in the morning. I lost half my base to this. >.<
Well, I am not sure about repro'ing it in a different game, but it sort of repro'd in the same game twice, in the same short time span of that video in fact. It just happened that my commander walked from the epicenter of the factory nuke, over to the power field. Unfortunate, however I fully expected the antinuke at the end of the power field which the nuke flew over top of to do it's one single function... ...but no. It Butters'd me. It Krillin'd me. It Yamcha'd me. -Insert other clever pop culture synonyms for failure here-
I logged a bug for this a few days ago... PA#4009 I've had anti nukes fail on several GW games. I've attempted to test in a skirmish but the AI was taking too long to nuke me so I nuked the AI once they built an anti-nuke and it successfully defended my nuke, so perhaps it's just an issue in GW? Seems strange that it would be though....
I've seen GW come up a lot in this thread. Could anti_entity_targets be getting thrown by the spec tags?
i had this happen last night. I had 5 antinuke silos built, all three were fully loaded, but the nukes took them out. i I just sat that and screamed "YOU HAD ONE JOB!!! "
Yet I will never get that commander back (and the win that I had otherwise earned). Nah, it is okay, I alt-f4 before game saved, so I just got to redo battle. Hopefully now with functioning antinukes!
