FYI, as of 8/31 on build 70289 this bug is still present.

A new release build of PA just went out. Have you tried testing planet smashing on build 71459?

I saw the new build shortly after posting that, and manually updated through steam. I'm not sure of the planet smash works or not, I'm afraid to try! the laser works tho! Now, just fix all the LAG!

Just casually reading the PA Log on crash, and it seems the error that the log reports is an unknown mouse click. Did you have a UI mod installed? It doesn't look like mods loaded, the log stated no mods folder found at the beginning, except the serverside cheat mods which are notoriously stable.

The crash is most definitely serverside failing at something. Maybe sending the server a button that isn't linked to a proper action. Maybe an old file that didn't get changed somehow. Did you try delete and reinstalling, on the machine of whomever is attempting to "launch" the halley?

Nope, no mods. And I didn't try to uninstall/re-install because other users were experiencing the same error.

It appears fixed in this latest build, as I was able to smash a planet last night. However the sim froze a minute or two later and then crashed.
