    Just tested it, you can only if you start firing the lazor before the planet starts to move to smash another planet otherwise the smashing planet is grayed out and you can't target it.

    Are you guys testing by launching the planet yourself and then trying to shoot it down? Might it be different if the planet is launched by an enemy. The planet may not grey out then.

    Did not think it mattered but I tested it to make sure, does not matter who owns it, it is always grayed out if it is launched.

    If you were REALLY skilled you could probably use a nuke to take out a Halley at the perfect moment so the planet's new orbit was on a collision course with another enemy planet.
    It would take a lot of luck, and a lot of attempts but if anyone ever pulled it off it would be glorious.
