The new build is great and everything... but there is some really intense and weird lag with the actual server and sim. The time dilation was not even working properly, it would go slow-mo, then it would skip frames.

Notice the server is running at 5.8 FPS, (which should be the opposite of lag), way off from the normal 1.0 FPS, . It also dipped down to .8 FPS sometimes.

But the sim is running at a terrible 3 FPS on average, and dips down to .9 FPS.

Yes, this was happening to everyone on the game.

Could it be playfab? could it be that so many people are playing?

I'm not sure if other people are having these problems but this is not a good way to launch a game. let this thread serve as an alert to Uber.

PS. I don't think this thread should be in support, since it's not a bug and is an alert.

I don't think this is appropriate for the support section but it's up to mods i guess.

It also happens that the game slows down to slow mo, its still perfect fps but 1/2 or 1/4, sometimes even 1/8 of normal game speed.

I have been experiencing the same thing. Started about an hour ago. I was looking down at the clock and it took about 5 seconds to move the clock just 1 second. So everything was 5 times slower. I just left the game, couldn't take it. This was in the single player mode.

some things may have changed, It'd be nice for a dev to come explain what the numbers mean and what's going on.

I think something might have broke when the PTE got made the stable. The lobby also got some weird problems that i didn't see in the PTE.

Yeah there are some pretty bad lobby bugs.

The frozen commander screen bug has returned too!

I wonder if this is because of the time dilation?

I'm pretty sure there was some time dilation in it however its weird that it happened so early in the game. It was around 12 minutes and there weren't that many units in the game or patrolling. It just wasn't playable.

Owyeah and I quitted and watched the stream of Milkdragon and everything looked pretty smooth over there.

I've noticed that on the server screen, the time value is sometimes displayed as 999ms, which I can only assume means that there has been a massive latency spike.

I think we can all agree its because people saw it at PAX and bought it right after. ;)

    : /

this must not be the build they put together at pax. Hopefully that fated build fixes this (a bit).
