Alright, I'm going to let loose a little on Uber(but I wish I didn't have to).

So I went straight to their booth(I was in the 3rd line) I made it there at 9:58.

Well, first I find out that @cwarner7264 and @ZaphodX had been given Exhibitor tickets(free in) and had gotten to see the Uber offices(which in a PM @garat had informed me that I probably couldn't do a tour). So far nothing but minor annoyances.

Moving along, not really anyone was stopping by, said "Hi" to @reptarking. Anyways, I suggest that we(us players who are there) start a game. @garat informs me that every game(at least Friday) was scheduled. Meaning, no one but the selected people could play. No schedule was posted so I can only assume that it would only be preselected players(no randoms off the floor or anything).

So where we are now. An avid PA fan, Kickstarter backer, PA player and Caster, left out in the cold. As far as I know I can't even join in a game or cast(Zaphod and Garat only at this point).

So the main group I've come to see doesn't put on their normal "Be inclusive" but instead put forwards the "We are an exclusive competitive game".

So here are some suggestions for Uber:

1. Open up the playing field: You have Gandalf, Wrongcat, Me and Zaphod, we can help show players the game that WE love.

2. Let some other people cast: I'm here, I can cast. Maybe switch it up a bit. Gandalf, WrongCat, Zaphod and Myself can all cast and probably trade out.

3. Interact with u: When I wanted to get things rolling I got the "We've got a plan and you can't be a part of it". That hurt pretty bad. I traveled to PAX Prime so I could hang with you guys. Don't put up the standard "we're devs and your gamers, we can't be friends.

When did Uber start putting people on different levels? I'm really put off with how unwelcome I felt. I'm not just some random dude who showed up either. I've been involved a lot with the competitive/forum/steam/reddit community for PA.

Anyways, I'm putting this info forward too the community at large because the previous private discussions I've had with Uber about this kind of stuff has apparently been largely disregarded.

I really like you Uber and I want to be a part of PAs growth as it goes into 1.0 and beyond. But you have to let me(and others) join in.

let uber show the game, and instead of doing post of "i want to play/cast in public" show us some pics.

I'm not sure what purpose this post serves other than to stir up drama. Uber clearly has a set plan in mind for the exhibition. They've brought both Marshall and Zaphod all the way from the UK as part of this plan. Does this post amount to anything other than you complaining about not being included?

Marshall isn't here as far as I know, just Zaphod and TheWrongCat.

Marshal posted he was in the Uber offices earlier today. I'm not sure what you hope to accomplish with this - drama isn't the way to get on Uber's good side...

Agree, give us some pictures and stuff, some infos. Probably Uber didn't mean to give you the cold shoulder.

I've been on Uber's side through tons of controversy. I'm not an "off the handle/cause trouble whenever I don't like something" kind of person.

What I'm annoyed at is the fact that Uber is excluding EVERYONE but a select group of people. They aren't even letting other people play the game as far as I know. I'm hopping that as things go on they loosen up, but right now they've been rather crass and rude imho.

I'll go grab some pics in a moment and post them. Might take a few minutes because Wi-Fi is spotty at best.

It's their game, their media policy. I can't blame them for keeping a tight grip on things given all the recent shenanigans. Coming here to to air your grievance is trying to stir up trouble because you feel excluded. If anything it's just going to make them ignore you harder. I would recommend getting in touch privately, like I said I doubt they intended to snub you. Or maybe they did. Either way drama raising here isn't going to help anything.

Your latest PA video (6 days ago) on youtube has 38 views. ZaphodX's latest (4 days ago) has over 3000 views. Uber probably brought Zaphod over to cast because he is overwhelmingly the most popular caster (for good reason). There are probably hundreds of people who would want to play and cast as well, it's not like you are some special case left out in the cold. Just enjoy the show while you're there.

Exactly. This post just makes it seem like you are trying to force them into including you. Forceful tactics are generally unappreciated.

Also, there are some benefits to being an outsider. You can give us your unfiltered opinion of the showing, the interest levels etc. I'm sure we'd all love to know how much interest there is in the game. Be our man on the outside

Seriously, PAX is expensive for them to go to, send people to, set up their booth, etc./ It's first and foremost a marketing event, and the reason they go their is to help make the game succeed so they can continue to do their good work (by which I mean they better make lots of DLC as I'll buy it like a heroin addict)

While I can understand that you want to play the game as it probably cost you money to get their get in, etc. I (and many others) really can't take your side as opposed to Uber's. They obviously planned their trip to Pax out with goals to achieve and reasons to be their in the first place. You went their with the expectation, but not the knowledge of what they were doing there. You were disappointed, and that's too bad, nobody wants you to be unhappy, but you can not blame them if they already had plans for what they're trying to achieve.

You can bust zaphod and marshall and take photos of them for the forums...

Will we be able to see the livecasts? I think they said the internet there is very expensive, so maybe not?

I mean, it's kind of a **** move to disregard oath like that...

Let me explain what's going on.

Earlier this year, TheWrongCat went to PAX. He ended up doing a bunch of casting at the PA booth and turned out to be a big success.

This time Uber wanted to put on more of a show. They chose to invite these 3 people because they not only have been heavily involved with the community, they are also some of the best PA casters out there.

Yeah I hope they'll recording some fun stuff.
