However, have a few questions: - How long is the learning curve? - Where I can find a user guide / strategy, etc? - After looking around, it seems there is still no released date. Any info on this? - How solid is the current ver..? - Are updates automatic or requires use action?
Buy it and find out! No, seriously. Depends. RTS veteran? You'll feel right at home, perhaps you'll need an hour or so to get used to the resource system if you're coming from Blizzard RTS titles exclusively There's an official tutorial video and sites like www.pamatches.com with stats, replays, videos .... No official date. Best guess is some time late 2014? Who knows. Stable, as long as your drivers are up to date. What upgrades. Software? The game has a launcher which will install the latest version automatically. Ingame? There are no upgrades or research options.
It depends on your computer, but the odds are very much in your favor of not having issues. I've been playing for just shy of 12 months, and I very rarely get major issues. The updates are automatic when you launch the game via Uber Launcher and of course Steam is always automatic. The Uber Launcher is considered to be preferred due to the addition of a Public Test build and it seems to be a little better at running the game. @Shwyx You totally misread that
Upgrading the army is simply creating a new tier of units. Updating the game is fully automatic in the steam version.

You can check out Brian's wiki for tutorials and watch pro players on youtube. the learning curve is not too good. before this, i had only played flash strategy games and its not too hard to adapt if you know the strategies. Learn and practice. Its pretty solid, i play on a laptop on high settings and the game is playable even late game. updates are automatic with steam, but not with the uber launcher. the launcher lets you play PTE though.
