Some of the achievements are excessively grindy.

it was brought up elsewhere for xbox360, not long after spunky special. the devs felt the achievements were good to add. they seem to not care if its possible to get, like MW2 doesnt care if its possible to get the spinning 10th prestige icon because its impossible to get without hacks.

either way, complain about it if you like, as long as you know its probably not guna change.

anywho, doing "the scramble", i got 1000 in a week. that means 100 weeks of grinding. someone who likes blitz that much might be able to pull it off. someone who plays assault and constantly spawns buzzers (which count as a buzzer kill for the assault who spawned them when they hit their target and blow up) might also be able to do it in roughly the same time. still not a nice number, nowhere near as easy as other protags that, you know, actually matter. as we all know, buzzers dont matter. the fact that you want that protag to be obtainable shows you just want achievements.

No protags matter gameplay wise, since they're just for show. That doesn't change the fact that people want them, even completely meaningless ones like the Beta tag. There's a thread about that tag in this very forum.

If people want them, I think it should be considered possible to have them by investing a hardcore but not excessively hardcore amount of time.

point is, buzzers dont matter. if you want to kill buzzers and get an award so much, the lol is the point of the matter. the point of the matter is WHY do you need to kill buzzers except self defence? WHY do you want an award for doing it? LIVING is the award for killing buzzers.

i know a game that its an achievement for getting top on the leaderboard. is that obtainable? really?

just take 2:15 into the clip into consideration. it distracts from the big picture. just play.

anyhow, the devs are the ones that thought it was funny to put that as the achievemnt, so your arguement is with them anyhow. but its not going to change, so get started on killing 500 a day so you can eventually get the achievement you want.

actually dont. if you GET that achievement, then the dev's sick idea of wasting a LOT of your time for NOTHING will be a SUCCESS.

If they're meant to be unachievable, that's fine. I was under the assumption that they were friendly milestones to rack up while you played normally, not sinister punishments for covetous gamers.

I have a great idea. Lets make ALL the achievements impossible to get. That will show them internet gamers who is boss.

I have noticed that people on this forum are both afraid of being wrong, and seem to just accept what the Dev's do as being within reason. Dreaming up scenario's as to why the dev's did something like this, is pretty much pointless. If Uber actually says something, then the air will clear and we can move on with our lives, but I am pretty confident that they set them so high by accident.

i guess this is when you facepalm. anyhow, i dont think they will be changed. by all means, keep petitioning. i know no offence, and none taken, but im not some nerd trying to sound loner rebel, i seriously could care less about buzzer kills. most important thing about buzzers to me, is that when you spawn them they help push pros, especially light ones. i thought that was the most important point, not that killing 100000 of them gives you a really rare and thus cool achievement.

Doesn't mean anything. Second hand information means nothing at the end of the day. TOM12121112 could have easily made up this statement. Unless an actual developer comes in here and says something, then this will never resolved.

Scramble Blitz! The only bots that spawn here are Buzzers, Gremlins and Bouncers. Only build Shave-Ice turrets that way you get every bot kill.

im at 1100 buzzer kills. before spunky special, when i vowed not to play crossfire till chain juicing was fixed, i had 200. in 2 days of blitz, i got 900. and one of them wasnt a full day.

im saying that if you did grind, you could do 1000 in a day. maybe lil more. so 100 days of nothing but scramble blitz without turrets isnt so bad.

Some of us have jobs and can't exactly play MNC for hours on end.
