I just started trying to install PA after having removed it from my system some time ago, and the PA launcher consistently fails at an early point. It also crashed several times while downloading the packages, but was able to progress by re-launching the launcher and starting it again. Now that it is into decompressing, however, it crashes at the exact same point each time, as depicted in the attachment. The crash notice is simply a system message that UberLauncher.exe has stopped working. Addendum: In the process of repeatedly restarting it to check the particulars of the error for this post, the progress bar on decompression has been seen to advance past the previously consistent stopping spot before crashing. I will try running it a few more times to see if it can progress further, but this seems like a problem even if it does.
Yeah this happend too me aswell a few days ago, you have to constandly restart the launcher after it crashed to finish the installation.
After two more crashes that looked just like the one above, it got through decompression to updating game files, and from there to completion. So I no longer have a problem, but you might want to have a look at why your installation process crashes a dozen times before running to completion.
Same here. I usually get to package 138 or 139 of 145 before the launcher crashes. After three crashes I uninstalled the launcher and removed all remnants and profile data of the previous installation but I've still got the same problem. The last time I ran it I got to 140, so I'm going to try again some more when I get the time.
Hello, What drive are you trying to install the game on? One user couldn't get the game to install on his secondary drive, but he fixed it by installing the game on his primary C: drive. https://forums.uberent.com/threads/launcher-crashes-during-download.63098/#post-981571
