Launcher not launching even though it is open in thing at bottom of screen!!

still nothing is working

Try installing the DirectX End-user Runtimes. This happened to my on my new laptop earlier this week and the install of the runtimes fixed it.

Oh, what did I get you ask? Well, a Lenovo Y50 with 16GB ram and 4GB Nvidia Geforce GTX 860M.

Kind of the same problem.

Uber Launcher starts and I can see it in the explorer tab. If I put it in the forefront I also know it is there but invisible because I can not select the desktop shortcuts that are underneath it.

Drivers and Direct X are up to date. Could it simply be that my system is too old to even load the launcher?
