This is the same economy that has existed since Total Annihilation - what do you think is missing? The game is based on an energy pipeline delivering metal to where you need it, with exponential scaling.

Perhaps the only thing they could 'add' is to tweak reclamation. There just aren't that many opportunities to recycle biomass and metal to cover shortages. Especially metal.

Care to explain what exactly is missing? Is it the fact that in TA something could be only 50 metal yet worth 6000 energy, or how in Supcom you could have something worth a certain amount of metal and a fabricator with a certain amount of metal a second, yet it doesn't build in the time it should because it's so confusing and adding more fabs makes it even slower sometimes and just.... It was needlessly complex and took me a bit to notice the first time I used it.

I guess he wants metal and energy to be expressed in floating point.

So metal extractors provide 1.433316 metal and energy plants provide 184.17122 energy, and so on.

    Your POST needs more complexity.

I don't think that goes too far enough. I demand that the economy use complex numbers!

    I'm locking this because:
    - OP is just a statement with no explanation
    - no constructive discussion is possible because of it
    - the TA/FA/PA economy is widely regarded as rather complex compared to other RTS (especially for new players)
