The crashes, UI freezes, and reconnect button. Just, wow.

    First, i would like to say that this has to be one of the worst performing patches ever, and I've had this game for a while. Sure, it's gamma, but this is REALLY bad. Crashes, the terrible UI crashes, and the inability for the reconnect button to reconnect to the MOST RECENT GAME YOU LEFT, is a lethal combination. I have a hard time even finishing a game without the UI freezing or the client crashing. I guess this thread is just me raging about the most annoying things in this game right now, but i really hope there is a patch fix for this.

    Totaly agree with you man. I have the same problem.
    Playing in galactic war makes the game ut crash after 20-30 min play time. then i cant reconnect and need to restart the match. Its so anoying.

    Im trying to play vs absurd and i can be done you just need long fights to take em out. Either way. i wont be able to play this game untill that is fixed

    Yeah, about that...

    My drivers are up to date (337.88 WHQL) and I still get these bugs. I wonder if beta drivers help or not.

    my drivers are completely up to date. I don't even need to upload my dxdiag, i just know ;)

    Update:

    I just found out that using F5 reloads the whole Coherent UI, not just the build bar.

    Getting constant crashes, Coherant UI crashes constantly, constantly have to F5, 80% of my games end with a crash and when I reconnect it just instantly crashes. Game is basically unplayable now. And the build bar bug too but I guess everyone gets that.

    All drivers up to date.

    I think Uber would like to see a bit more than just "it crashes".

    BTW: there seems to be no real guidance to performance. Sometimes stuff breaks for no reason. I guess it has to do with the fairly new tech Uber are using.

    Ok, what more can I provide.

    I can do the DXDiag thing, but every single time I've ever done that in my entire life, people go crazy to post it, so you do, and immediately after you do, not a single person ever acknowledges it or replies to you. It certainly has never, ever helped me before. I'm pretty heavily convinced that no one ever even looks at them, the developers are looking at tons of their own error reports..

    if there's a specific problem they're trouble shooting then yeah. But just blanket posting it for every problem posted on forums.. no one will ever look at it

    I'm not saying I'm going to go out of my way to not provide it, but yeah I don't really know how so that's why I didn't go out of my way to do all that with my post.. it never goes anywhere. But I will if you want?

    I do understand. The problem is that a "crash" may sound like it says all, but it's very difficult to pin down why it crashes. Me, i have a loading problem where i drop 3-4 minutes late into the game and basically lose because of it. After posting just about everything short of my bank account it has no solution so far. It doesn't always work, sadly.

    The coherent UI crash may be just a small bug in Uber's code, and it can be fixed soon. It may be some piece of software on your computer not playing along nicely. E.g. a driver update is needed. It may be a video card or RAM running out of memory. It may be so many things.

    The DXdiag gives info on hardware and things like drivers etc, by the way. So if someone says something along the lines of "your drivers are up to date /you have a good computer" , they've looked at your DXdiag.

    I am hardly qualified as a bug fixer, but my instincts say it's something on Uber's end that went wrong.

    Here's my DXDiag.

    Constant crashes make the game unplayable. Everything breaks. Crash in the lobby, crash in game, memory crashes, coherent ui crashes, etc. Same happens for my friend with an amazing PC as well, not that mine is a slouch, but his is top of the line for video rendering and constantly kept clean..

    As for mine, all drivers up to date, I keep it clean too, GTX 660 2gb, 8gb ram, I5 3750k, game on an SSD, Windows 7 64 bit, everything up to date, every background program closed, nothing running but the game.

    Running the game with everything off, at 75% native resolution.

    I could play the game perfectly fine 3 months ago on max settings. Only issue then was the server lag. At least I could complete matches eventually, though :/
