    Any info you can provide about the status of astroid belts and/or proportional planet smashing? Which goes hand in hand with taking a large planet and smashing a smaller planet.

    Edit: Ooh. And what about sinking wrecks!

    IMO, sinking wrecks is what's most needed to get naval to work and astroid belts and proportional smashing is most needed for orbital/multi-planet.

    Proportional planet smashing seems to work in the latest PTE build. Planet smashing doesn't necessarily destroy everything on a planet; crater size and damage radius vary.

    Would it be possible to make the "ghost buildings" that are in queue more visible on snowy surface?

    Could you reduce the noise of orbital stuff (especially Umbrella)?

    When will the Brad Nicholson commander be released?

    Will the in game robot chick announcer ever stop calling Power Plants "Energy Factories"? That one always bugs me. Energy is not something that is produced in a factory, factory is where they produce stuff like food or cars. Energy is made in power plants.

    An option for pre-built bases in the lobby? How about that? No biggie, just some metal extractors, power plants and a factory. Like in SupCom.

    How about monkeys? You know... those things you see in a zoo.

    Can I have a random forum title for absolutely no reason?

    Can Mr. Geers have the forum title "The God of Gifs"?

    Can I... um... ok, I'm running low on ideas... You won this time.

    Have you tested returning to a smashed planet and having units walk around in the crater?

    what is going to happen with gas giants....its like the only feature that uber has promised that we have heard next to nothing about...

    1. What would be the current priority of procedural terrain features such as cliffs / plateaus? Is there anything in the works, is an implementation method planned out, is such a feature planned in the near future, far future or at all?

    I know it's sort of possible with modding, and I already made a pretty crude mod in order to test it out. But it's not yet possible to implement them very well, and I would really like to see something like this appear in the base game.

    2. Are there any plans to change the terrain height algorithm in some way? I'm quite sure the permutation table is the same for every planet right now, which may not be obvious at first, but is actually very limiting for the variety of planets it can generate. These two planets have different seeds; 16 and 33. These seeds will always generate very similar planets to one another. This should be an extremely rare occurrence, but it isn't rare at all right now.

    I've set up a system to smash right before the match started; walking on the crater works as it did before (crater is only visual).

    Yeah, I was about to say, I'd already tested a radius 100 planet side-swipe earlier and only things close to the crater were destroyed in the explosion.

    ok one more thing, what do you guys consider the idea of planetary rings? cosmetic and useful, useful in the fact that there will be mining the astroids in the ring? because that would be cool!
