Able Commander Poll

We're interesting in hearing specifically what you, the backers, have to say about the Able Commander (the Progenitor-inspired Commander we're creating to support the AbleGamers Foundation). Please vote in the poll, if you have the time.

Do note though, that if we end up not to offering Able, we will not be able to support the AbleGamers Foundation with an in-game item for the foreseeable future. Our production schedule, unfortunately, won't be able to allow it. If we do end up offering Able, all the proceeds from Able will go to the AbleGamers Foundation and it'll be offered to anyone in the Armory for purchase.

Can we have an option to support the charity with a different commander?

I vote yes, or, the use of a different commander.

Would also be accepting of a changed/improved progenitor instead as well.

Unfortunately, we can't offer another Commander. There's just no time.

So, why did it have to be the exclusive progenitor model?

Why did you have to use something that was stated to be a unique model?

I'm conflicted on this one; since I'm not a kickstarter backer affected by it, I don't feel my opinion on this matter should be relevant. I can't speak for people affected by something in a way I'm not, and I think that's true for a lot of potential voters.

I think you should offer it, its for a good cause and the only way i could be upset about it, is if it was more powerful than my commander.

Its just cosmetic, with no real game changing effects.

It happened and can no longer change. That is why.

So you potentially wasted time and money, rather than research the matter before committing resources?

That's cool, but do you have time to alter the current ones, either the able or the progenitor? Even if it's just a texture thing, just some large differences would go a long way to cooling the fire.

I just started following this 10 min ago, could we get a picture of the two commanders everyone is arguing about posted so we can see how similar/dissimilar they are?

(I'll most likely say to do it even if i can't tell them apart)

However you want to spin it. The question is this: do we release Able or not? If you could vote, that'd be awesome.

I'm not a spindoctor Brad, I'm just asking for clarification on why Uber made a move without consulting those people whom it would affect.

This poll is really in bad taste. Perhaps not the best term but Uber really needs to man up and accept their own mistake in this case and make their own decision at this point.

What exactly are people supposed to respond here? Don't support a charity OR give permission and free pass to Uber for breaking a promise? This isn't fair to backers. We're not the ones who screwed up here. Shouldn't be put in a position like this. Time to make your own decision and accept what you've done. You've backed yourself into a bad position that was completely unnecessary and very predictable.

The discussion on what they should do if this ever comes up again is still open in another thread. Maybe they made a mistake here and maybe they didn't. The question here seems to be "Ok, now what?"
