An alert for when an Astraeus has arrived at a planet would be nice. This should be based on how many move orders there are not per unit. Otherwise we'll get Uberspammed (c wat i did thar?) when we send 500 of the damn things to try and crack a planet-fortress.
I'd make this a "planet under attack" alert. If there are no enemy units on a planet I own, and suddenly there is one, alert triggered. Be it ground or orbital layer.
Eh, alerts already feel pretty chaotic and cluttered. But they probably need a little reworking anyway, so add away.
Would be cool, but then players lose the element of surprise. If you're not paying attention to that kind of stuff, you deserved to get mowed down.
While you're not wrong, I have two points to raise: For good competitive players you are right, but for the vast majority who play at a slower pace and lower skill level, functionality like this help making the game fun. And if you have a system that's more than the usual 2-3 planetary bodies it just gets really hard to keep track of everything all the time.
I'd love this. However, right now we need a way to filter alerts or more alerts will be meaningless. They finally took away the notifications of a unit being built. But we still get notifications for insignificant events, like destroying enemy structures. What I always do is put up a PiP over the spot where my Astraeus is going so I know exactly when it lands.
