New version available, what's new :
    • no warning for dependency already installed
    • stop excessive scrollbar "reset to top"
    • mods ordering should be "stable" for multiple entries with the same date
    • should fix the pamm:// handler on windows

Got the new mod manager working. Looks nice.

FYI, the forum link for economic efficiency is broken.

How does one remove mods within the mod manager? I only see a "reinstall" button..

How about whenever a mod gets enabled, its files are checked against all already enabled mods? The only file that should safely be present in both is the modinfo file, if there are any other matches it's almost certainly a shadowing conflict. PAMM should warn the user that there is a conflict, giving them a choice whether to enable the mod or not.

This would most help server mods, most of which rely on shadowing alone. There are 6 server mods currently on PAMM which shadow base_commander; only two mention commanders in their name or description, and even then it's not obvious that these mods conflict.

Good idea, could you fill an enhancement request in the github project ?

"Disable All" removes the PAMM mod, and enabling a mod doesn't put it back. "Refresh" seems to restore it.

Good catch ! Fixing it (disable all will not affect the "pamm" mod anymore)

For a few minutes I thought Garat put some teeth in the admonition to avoid mods ;^)

guess i be able to use mod manager now without having to reload me windows :) (HTA cant run on my PC as i get that Domain cross issue that prevents access to PAMM site via HTA files)

looking at getting an new PC at some point this year any way so not in any rush (wonder if 16GB be enough to run the big solar systems mite get 32GB for my new system as its really not that much more for extra 16GB) still thinking if i should bother with windows 8 (considering i going to be using startisback or classic shell any way to restore the start menu)

Question: Is there a way to set the PAMM to not to remove mods that I installed manually (like the RCBM temporary icons client mod).

PAMM doesn't remove mods without user consent, I'm not sure to understand the issue.

It removes them form mods.json if it doesn't see them, even if you don't change anything. Why doesn't it see them anyway?

2 possibilities, as far as I know :
    • you didn't install this mod manually in the right place (see in the configuration panel for the client mods location, the server mods location is close to it).
    • the modinfo.json is corrupted

Oh I definitely installed it in the right place, it even works correctly unless PAMM removes it.

I can imagine two scenario with this behavior :
    • Your client mod is deployed in the mods folder inside your PA installation
    • You deployed a mod with context "client" inside the server mods directory.

Wrong on bot occasions it is inside client_mods and it's context is client
