Hi couldnt find a thread for this so if someone knows of a fix please link me. Sometimes when coming out of a match or logging on to the game my friends on friendslist dont appear online and they cant see me online. Normally a quick relog solves the issue. But for some reason whenever i log on this problem is happening and no amount of relogging is helping. If anyone could help it would be appreciated as it is quite annoying not being able to play with my friends because of this.
Sometimes it is on your end, sometimes it is on theirs. If it is on theirs, they or both you must relog. It isn't very reliable yet :/
There are three of us and both of them can see each other its just me who appears offline. Tried so many relogs now it hurts
Yah, my friend and I have the same problem.. no workie.. no mods, vanilla install, updated PA, rebooted, restarted, resigned to wait for a fix/patch.
Maybe someone at the Uber 4th of july party tripped on a cord and they'll notice tomorrow when they clean up the beer bottles, and pizza boxes.
My partner and I had this exact issue - I managed to fix it by changing her name - in the game and now we can "see" each other as online in the game when we're both playing.
This has been an issue for awhile. Most of the social functions in the lower right hand corner don't work reliably right now. Inviting a friend to a game doesn't always work. Adding a friend to your list doesn't always work. Sometimes a friend appears offline but they are actually online. I have added the same friend to my list before and had two of the same person on my list. It doesn't appear to me that your friend list stays with you but rather is stored on your machine. Thus if you are playing on one machine and you build up your friends list and then go to a different computer to play you won't have your list. It would be nice if the list was account bound instead.
Thanks for the responses we havnt been able to get it to work as of yet. two of my friends see each otehr online but i show as offline gonna get both of them to change there names and try and do a friend request thing. hopefully it works. good to know its a bug rather than something im doing wrong
