Hey guys i play PA since the early alpa, i had awesome moments, but in the last weeks i cant play a proper game...

So here's my bug, i start PA --> klick on Server Tab --> see the Servers --> "unable to retrieve game list" --> INTERNET CRASH.... really the Internet is dead, i cant even google anything, only way out is to plug the router in and out. This is so annoying -,-

I use DSL 1600 via a Speedport W700V from Telekom Deutschland GmbH.
Anyone have expierence? I don't know what to do....

PS: PA is the only game who crashes my Internet and i have the same router/DSL all the years... so somehow the update causes the DC...
And all mods are disabled and driver updated ;)

Might want to disable it when you play, or maybe stop it from blocking the port?

The Speedport has a firewall as well, turn it off just to test if it is working again...

Have you tried to restart your router?
Because this router is not the best.

Try to exclude game directory or remove AV.
Disabling won't do anything because AVs usually don't have way to be disabled for real.

Mines from 2006 and works fine. With the game. Tends to throw its hands up and yell "Ermagherd!!" when I try to download more than one thing at a time.

Its a problem with the router/internet. Did you reset the modem/router at all? Sometimes you need to do this in order for it to refresh the IP which routinely gets changed once or month or so from your ISP. If you have done this, you could also try running your router in DMZ mode, not reccomended long usage but this is just to test to see if the ports are getting blocked by the router, if the game works then you know what the problem is, its the router. If this still presists then you could also trying running the modem in DMZ mode as well. If both don't work, then you'll need to contact your ISP to see if the specific ports this game uses are blocked at the ISP end.

Hope you find what is causing the problem.
