To make sure no one missed this: T2 bots are absolutely an alternative method of attacking naval forces.

After bots, nukes, planetary annihilation, and killsats, you are pretty much talking arty creep in one of its many forms (bot, air, or fabricated [pelter, holkins, catapult, anchor]).

Yup, a water-based version of the teleporter is definitely needed.

The logistics of invading a water would might prove tricky without even the orbital transport being able to move boats.

En..dropping not necessary means to let the units free fell. Maybe the "dropping" can make looks like "landing". Still, I don't think boats can do so unless is spacecrafts or space ships, then it is not good for the game.

Exactly, I like the mobile factories' idea as well. And I would like to see them as T3 facrories

I mulled over the idea of it being a T2 shipyard, but I think it would be better to have it as an armored T1. The reason being that it's already armored, it shouldn't be the best factory we can build. There should still be incentives to build T2 factories.

You could drop multiple of these, flood the waters around your invasion with T1 ships and then build fabbers to start building your T2 factory on site. If you are invading another planet like this you should be able to afford building your T2 factory quickly.

so how to attack water in the current version ...

naval can´t be transfered because they have no transportoptions at all

ground can´t be transfered for when there is no ground to set them off
with the exception of the t2 assaultbot since it can go under water

air can´t be transfered either for the same reason with naval
though there is one exception aswell being the airfabricator ... at least i think it is ( have to recheck that) .. allowing you to hopefully quickly build up defenses and factories ...

other than that if you dont´want to or if there is no way to smash the planet in question you just have to use nukes and everything orbital that is able to attack ground being the ssx and anchor

It would be cool if you could shoot lava at a planet to make a little island.

In addition, the naval can be unable to build says you are in a planet without water.

Hey guys, I think the problem is not abort transport navy, is actually about you normally can't build navy in your planet(most of time)
