This build addresses some of the issues called out in the overnight build. We're hoping to promote this to stable, so the more people trying it, the better. It's active in all three currently supported regions: US Central, EU West, Australia. I've also temporarily made the build available in a new Steam beta branch called PTE. If that makes it a little easier for more people to test out the build, I may continue to do that in the future - or at least for major PTE release builds. If you don't know how to subscribe to a Steam beta branch, google it.
Game crashes, doesn't work on Mac. I'm on the latest version of OS X. As soon as the system loads, it crashes. Even on reconnect.
Through steam, or through our launcher? I'm testing on secondary machine, but it's been solid so far.

10.8.5 confirmed as running solidly, no problems. Haven't played extensively, but appears fine. I'll check my mac mini too in a bit as it's running 10.9.4.
For some reason python patcher failed to download new PTE on Linux, e.g missing files. Though possible just a bug in patcher, going to try William's launcher now. PS: Yep, looks like @Yrrep patcher failed to update something. PSS: Bugs found (not sure if this PTE or not): AI difficulty settings is above "commander select" menu when it's active. This is in default 1276x749 window. Hmmm... just got a crash while generating planets.. logged back in and reconnected. Planets were still generating and it finished successfully. Happy days!
- OS X application icon is back. (PA#3614) - Bunch of translations updated - Pips worked over a little - Arrow keys are defaults for camera pan again. - Updated Halley effects? Rest probably all binary. I've got to go for a meeting, I'll take a look at actual gameplay when I get back.
I was having a lot of issues with pa until I done a clean install ( I deleted pa folder and the local folder, I know you are mac but a full reinstall fixed A lot of the little stuff I had
I was able to play a full skirmish in GW! however after the end of the battle where I would normally be back in the galactic map, the UI is just black though I could blindly click on things. Will try to reproduce. just wanted to share my happiness that I can at least play through a game Also even though UI was blank, there are still many coherent_ui processes running, so something new is happening, not a full blown crash. Update: after winning second GW skirmish galactic map is blank again... fortunately after restarting the game, my progress is not lost and I can collect the tech and continue. Update2: per SXX suggestion, toggling between window mode and full screen make Galactic map UI reappear. Alt-Enter is the hotkey that changes this for me in Xubuntu 14.04
