My apologies if this has already been addressed, I was unable to locate specific details about this... How does spawning bots work? From my experience, it seems like it's class-based. And whatever class you are, always spawns a certain type of bot when you use the spawn bot panel. Assassin gets gremlins, tank gets bouncers etc. Is there anyway to change this? Maybe have what types of bots you spawn as a custom class selectable option? Also, it seems like, especially in overtime, the other team spawns a heck of a lot more jackbots. Are they just killing my team's bots faster and we both spawn them at the same rate, so it just makes it seem like they have more? Or is there someway to purposely spawn jackbots? Or something else?
Jackbots spawn on a timer during normal gameplay. Player spawned bots are dependent on what class you are.
Does anyone know the specific time these Jackbots spawn...like 5 minutes before overtime, intervals during overtime, etc???
I think the game might also take into account current team positions on the map when spawning jackbots. SO as to push out a bit easier.
Hey Guys, Sorry if I am just a total idiot here. I only got in a couple games last night. How do I spawn bots? Is there a terminal or can I do it anywhere like skills? If so, what button? Thanks. Enjoying my time so far.
Support spawns the artillery robot that looks like a four legged spider. As I am almost always support that is the only one I can identify for sure.
You spawn bots from a button near the spawner. Bots are spawned based off of which class you are currently. Jackbots spawn on set intervals, about every 5 minutes and only Jackbots spawn in OT. Assault: Buzzers Support: Gap Shots Tank/Gunner: Bouncers Sniper: Scramblers Assassin: Gremlins
Awesome...that makes sense that there were so many Jackbots at the end of Overtime. I was relentlessly spawning bots hoping a Jackbot would come out at the end of one of my matches. Ultimately it helped my team, but I will be more strategic with my bot spawns, THANX!!!
ProTip: Scramblers drain skills. Spawn a scrambler and hang out by it and watch all the Assassin's cloak skills drain away. Watch the Assaults/Tanks unable to charge... etc... etc.
Oh, you'd be surprised. As a Support I've been caught without my Air Strike ability at critical moments because I got swarmed by a couple of Scramblers.
PlayerWord: Assaults and tanks can kill scramblers in 2 hits... Bouncer/gremlins/gap shot> Black jack> Fliers> Slim bot> Scrambler They move so slow it's would be next to impossible to not see them coming w/o having your back turned, plus their ability is so "ranged" you can walk up and do a skill on them.
