Overall I like this game so far but there are just a couple of little things that I think if were considered, would help make this game truly great. Of course I know it's still in development but here's my contribution anyway:

Bots. Bots need some love. Perhaps my biggest gripe when I first started playing last year was 'man those Dox's are tiny!'. But even more than that, their wimpy size is matched by their very underwhelming power. I was expecting something in size and influence similar to the basic bots shown in the PA trailer released last year with proper laser bolts and not the little yellow things that they currently fire. Need to be more awesome in my opinion! With proper lasers as well (perhaps even lasers that match their army colour)! :)
I kind of expected Dox's to be the basic meat of any army (versatile) but in their current form they are just not worth the time and effort to make them when you can make tanks instead.

If the Dox's were turned into something slightly larger, more durable, perhaps slower firing and with better damage then the tanks could be more valuable, less common pieces in the army. They would be slow moving/firing, high health but have higher damage than the dox's and do some limited area damage as well.

I think also that if T1 bots were better then there would be more 'personality' to the units as they are the most humanoid looking apart from the commander. To me that was one of the endearing aspects of TA in that each bot unit had it's own place and style and personality. You don't get that feeling in this game apart from with the commander as the other units move to cleanly/are too basic in presentation. The way units move, look and behave in the trailer for PA is more dynamic and I think it gives them more character.

What does everyone else think about this?

The balance of this game changes every other patch.
One patch bots are too powerful, one patch vehicles are too powerful, all patches air is too powerful whoopsdidijustsaythatoutloud?

The hope is that it'll all become just right before release. I have faith in Scathis and Meta, but we'll see.

Scathis scathis scathis meta... You've created a bad meta.

Dox should be small and not very powerful individually, just as anything else shouldn't be powerful individually. Vanilla has them completely useless though.

I'd recommend trying either the Statera or Realm Community Balance rebalance mods.

    Get PAMM: https://forums.uberent.com/threads/rel-pa-mod-manager-crossplatform-version-with-atom-shell.59992/
Get the mod by going to "available mods" and click on the "server mods" button along the bottom. Click install. Then launch the game and create a game. It will take longer to load, but once it has the mod will be loaded as well. Do not change the system until it has loaded as that bugs up the UI.

Both should have dox powerful enough to make you pleased.

Scathis has created good balance before, and even if it's not in the way we think it should be going, it will be a workable balance.

But he does like to test the extremes of balance.

the direct trade off with bots are tanks but if bots cost 1/4 of the cost of tanks an did each a 1/4 of the damage so its a trade off, for the same cost, between swarming or tanking (literally).
like that bots are a sound strategy too
