I just got the game this week and enjoying it so far. I am trying out the galactic war feature and got pretty far. I was fighting a faction leader when I had to run out. I didn't see a way to save my current game, just pause it. I paused the game and minimized. When I came back PA was at the new war section. I couldn't find my previous war anywhere. Is this a known bug? Is there a way to save the progress of a battle?
The solution is to go beat up your brother so he won't touch your computer anymore. There is currently no way to save a live game.
I wasn't so upset with the loss of the current battle. Losing all progress for that commander was a little irritating. Looks like I have to start over.
it's the server it kicks idle players after 30 minutes or so, that is to prevent games where everyone disconnects from running for infinity. however you could consider it a bug if it still does so when the game is paused. on the other hand you are keeping a game running and that takes resources from the server and costs Uber money so it's better to not keep a game running more that 30 mins while being AFK
