The armalisk commander: You closed it without a full answer

I read the thread provided, but that really only stated that it was a timed exclusive, so let me make my question obvious here: Will we, the ones who payed much more then those who buy the retail edition, supported the game early, and for all intents and purposes, should get the better deal, get this commander eventually, or will we be stuck with the slightly remodeled hideously ugly theta commander while all the nice looking ones are given out to those who have payed less?

I understand the risk in buying things early, but the point of that warning is that the game may never be released, or be bad, not that the devs will screw you over by saying "oh well, should have waited, then you would have gotten the better stuff". I mean come on, if you really are not going to give it to us, how do you justify that morally? And do not give me some industry bogus about what I bought, tell me sincerely, in what way is it okay to completely screw over everybody who bought the game for a higher price early, and supported your development, by giving those who payed less, later, more exclusives? I am certain that this com will eventually be purchasable for 15 euros, but that is besides the point. I will not pay three times the price of magicka for a single bloody skin, and especially not one you should have given me for free. So tell me this, was this company worth supporting, or are you going to screw us over on the basis of some technicality, because while yes, you do not have to give it to us, it was not listed in what we got, not giving it to us would certainly make this company seem incredibly untrustworthy.

If you are giving it to us eventually, even if it is later then the retail, then I apologize for this rather harsh post, but that is not the vibe I am getting here.

It wasn't a part of the deal you bought, and so are entitled to nothing more then the original deal.

The purpose of the Armalisk being exclusive to early access retail edition has been clearly stated by Uber.
The company in charge of distributing the retail edition is also making business. And today, Business means you need some kind of exclusivity. So Armalisk is exclusive - so far - for the early access retail edition. This does not mean we won't have it. And in addition, It has never been stated that paying for early access meant we were going to have all the content for free. You want PA to be updated over next years ? I guess, otherwise you would not have bought an early access digital edition. Then let Uber make some business.

And I kinda disagree. WE kickstarted this game, sure, but we got our exclusive content, we got to play alpha, we got exactly what was promised to us.

I've just got to like all these post.

You paid for something, you get what you paid for, anything extra is just a sweet bonus and is not required.

I paid 290$ for this game, should I get EVERYTHING because of it? No!

Also it's just ONE commander, why do you honestly care that much? If you really care that much for it, buy it.

Not to mention I would assume with it being a timed exclusive it would eventually make it's way to the Armory. Unless in this instance timed exclusive means this Commander is available for a set amount of time.

You got here and stole my favourite thing to say.

As I stated in the thread, "On commander exclusivity," being a backer doesn't mean you get every commander skin that ever comes out that you like. It means you get the ones that were promised. The Armalisk was inspired by a high level backer, who we asked and he generously agreed to let us use it for the retail box in exchange for another version that was a unique sub-skin. It was his unique and exclusive design for being a high level backer. He has also agreed that we may sell it at some point in the future, and will receive a portion of the proceeds if/when we do.

You are not entitled to his unique skin, nor any other unique skin that was designed to fulfill our promises to high level backers. It is through their permission that they are accessible at all. And by definition, he gets this skin because he paid more, not less.

New skins will continue to come out, and if you feel they are worth the value then you can buy them. If you do not feel they are worth the value then you can choose not to buy them.
