PA.exe stopped working when a multiplayer game was launched or on the galactic map. Drivers should be updated and running Win 7 64 bit.

    Update:

    • Downloaded the standalone client.
    • Tried a multiplayer ffa by myself and one bot on a small map, was able to choose my starting spot on the map, moved my commander and PA.exe stopped working again.
    • Galactic Map lasted a few seconds longer, jumped two times before PA.exe stopped working again.

Hey guys! Please check this list of incompatible software:
    http://steamcommunity.com/app/233250/discussions/2/558751813508748383/
If you have any of programs in list installed try to run game with software disabled (try it first) or removed (better).
Let me know if this will help you. Thanks!

Also please try to disable all other programs you running in background and check if game work without them.

Thanks, but I have none of those programs installed.

I will try the new PTE build tonight.

I've also opened a ticket here: (forum will not let me post links) pa.lennardf1989.c om /Tracker/index.php?do=details&task_id=3695

Bugtracker is not for support, it's for bugs. :(

It's useless to post non-identified problems there.

Made sure those were allowed, they were set to Auto through Norton 360. Still crashed at about the same points.

In case of AV problems only real way to check it it's removal of AV. :)
Setting to "allowed" helped one player, but it's clearly some AV issue that might change any time.

This fix is completely unrelated to problem you have.

This usually mean driver fault. In some rare cases it's can be game bugs, but in this case there usually a lot more players affected.
