I can enter the main galaxy map screen, I can move around and collect tech but upon attempting to start a fight I get a message saying 'GW_LOBBY:LOST_CONNECTION_TO_SERVER.MESSAGE'. Any ideas as to what could be causing this and any possible fixes?
First of all, the servers are under unusually heavy load due to the Steam sale; I expect there will be increased capacity soon and reduced demand in a few days. I used to have issues staying connected to games; they went away when I replaced my router. Are you able to start a "multiplayer" game (you can create one and fight AI if you like) ?
The multiplayer is working fine, it is what I have been playing. I just wanted to try out the galactic war part of the game. I will try it out once the steam sale has died down a bit. Thanks for the reply.
GW should work, although some people like me have to restart between every individual match which is fine because GW saves. Otherwise, maybe its server load, maybe its something else.
