Honestly it depends who has gold armor or even that w passive 3... I think the tank should be leashed if gunner is out of reach since he gots shot to hell. This also creates juice faster since hes got the most armor in the game.

    Others say the assault......
I also think the firebase needs it.. Reason being is that thing helps shoot assault rifle range
Keeps tank away, gunner, and assault.

I say start back peddling for your base unless the other gunner is dead. No one else can kill him unless it is a lucky head crab/head shot. If he is dead then heal whomever is near you. Having your gunner healed by the time he gets back in is important. It would make no sense to see the other gunner healed up but yours is just starting to get white bar.

Tank can 1v1 a leashed gunner if his jet gun is registering and he lands his charge 3.

But for feedles question, start backtracking to preserve your juice and any injured player.

Tank can but getting opening for the charge to land is difficult unless he is reloading or you have position, in which case the over heal is largely moot. And if it slangy, now your support is dead too and gunner has to wait for respawn or risk being out of synch.

Hold map and heal your team/firebase. Only backpedal if you see their whole team is up and they get aggressive.
Sure, no single class can easily kill a leashed gunner, but almost any 2 can. Sniper+assault, tank+assault, sniper+tank even.

Yeah I can see that. It would depend on opposition and position, certainly.

By backpedal you guys don't mean all the way back to the spawn right. I mean like fall back to your team because if your gunner died he was probably pushed up and you don't want to be your teams frontline.

Yes. Fall back to the nearest point of safety, and keep on healing things for juice gain while you can. I don't care of it is the sniper you fall back to, you need to fall back to someone. Maybe not back to base altogether, but certainly at least as far back as either the tank or the assault.

I love people in Street Fighter that go-to this word of advice.

In all seriousness, I'd vote for hold ground with firebase, in same "non-agreesive enemy" situation, also assuming escape under firebase fire is possible with how far you are extended, we aren't talking half the map away from your whole team.

Its simple really. What I do is give heals to the Gunner, then when he dies, I just find the player with the most lifetime wins and leash them. Then when they die, the person with the next most wins, and so on.

It only makes sense to keep the most objective-oriented players alive longer. Right?

In PMs? Yeah, sure. I guess.

In pubs, you'd be more likely to get a friendly shotty blast than a heal beam.

And let's not forget, slowdie's tactics are very similar to yours, feedle. I don't think you've got much wiggle room to imply anything about his skill level.

I like slowdie. He is not the best player by any stretch, but he is fun and pretty competent. He won't win you a game on his own, but you know when he goes 4-40 it was because he kept bots out of your base and running towards theirs.
