Combat Fabbers infinite metal exploit.

    Not sure if anyone has already found out about this, but if you use a combat fab to reclaim something it does no damage, and it gives you infinite metal. It's so horribly bad; it's hilarious. :D

    There were TA maps that specifically set the game up to rely on reclaiming by having virtually no metal but massive structures to reclaim... It could be interesting :)

    I suppose I could have put it in the bug forums.. Eh, whatever, I've seen worse in here, people complaining about all kinds of bugs. :p

    My apologies, hadn't thought before posting! :D

    Edit: Though I could back myself up, saying it was to tell other people of the exploit and not to get it fixed, though that'd be a lie ;)

    Yeah because you can keep track of everyone's combat fabbers during a interplanetary war :p .. Should just agree not to use combat fabbers intill the bug is removed mate

    Ugh. I won't be using this exploit but no doubt I'll come up against a group of people that do.

    Of course this 'exploit' isn't really that helpful imo...

    I mean combat fabbers cost quite a bit of energy to run (more than a mex) so this is *only* an advantage on maps with very low metal income. Otherwise you're better off building mex. Also if someone is relying on combat fabs for reclaim income- they are SO easy to kill...

    Dude, if you find game breaking exploits, you do not make them known to the public. Damage control...

    I thought it was 60 for 1000 e? Metal extractors give 7, but not sure on energy consumption. I don't think they use much (if any) so they're still the better way to go. Useful for an early boost at start I suppose, but then again if you have lots of trees near you then reclaiming 1 or lots doesn't really change anything?

    Well why not have some fun with it, there should be a hotfix super quick... I'd hoped... But meh, if you're playing with friends, gentleman's rules.

    All for having fun with it, but i wouldn't post it in a public forum. Anyway, no big deal, it should already be hot fixed i think? Atleast in galactic war it is.

    Oh alright, good! Can combat fabs still reclaim? I was hoping they still could.
