28meg file installed, but when active (open) PA sits on the taskbar, uses 75% of the cpu, there is no pop up window, its not downloading anything, and, ..there is no progress indicator, is this abnormal..? Whats up Windows 7 64bit
First, uninstall it, then reinstall and try again. It may have been a bad install. Also, make sure all drivers are up to date (although that usually causes launch issues) and please upload your DxDiag.txt.
As you suggested, I have re-downloaded the 28meg file with same result, nothing is happening, also display drivers are up to date. Ernie Traver Dxdiag attached
Can you please download this file: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109 Then extract it to accessible directory, open this directory, find and run "DXSETUP.exe". After installation finished try to run game again.
the dx2010 file has worked, a few more issues, there is only A) a partial English version of the game, B) need a save password option in sign up, and C) lag issues as you know 1) also, how to zoom into the game for closer combat? 2) can I install the game on different computers ie, can not install the launcher on 2nd computer (for bigger monitor & sound) tried the dx2010 file thanks dxdiag of 2nd computer attatched
Not sure what you mean. No save password option is intended behavior, but it's will auto login if you'll run it though Steam. Mouse wheel and Ctrl+Up/Down. You need to get this file directly on PC and not using remote desktop; at moment I only see this: Code: --------------- Display Devices --------------- Card name: RDPDD Chained DD Manufacturer: Chip type: DAC type: Launcher also won't work without 3D acceleration. Though likely you just have old drivers here so try to get latest one from AMD website: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows 7 - 64#amd-catalyst-packages
