Not always a good idea to have that the units sink into the terrain but it sort of worked for him some how, something I've tried also but even the buildings started to sink inside the terrain as well when I last tried.

    Wasn't mine.

It's someone's sig. Can't remember who's. I've already asked them what they did, but they can't remember.

I thought to get that sort of thing you had to manually enter the height variation on a planet with a number over 100.

Speaking of Desert planets could someone tell me what settings I have to use to spawn a true desert would. One without oceans and does not get completely overran with the mountain terrain?

Also is it true that "soon" they will release the dev editing tools to make our own worlds?

Yeah, was my old sig. Made it by tuning up the height in the system maker. Not sure if you are allowed to do that anymore.

Yeah, read the last sentence of the quote. Tundra. Antarctica is a case exception because of it's temperature. There are areas there that are considered Tundra, and not in minority. In any other area, due to climate, a snowy region looking like that would be a tundra. The planet is not all black and white like the words of Wikipedia entries my friend!

A polar desert. Not to be confused with deserts. Or desserts.
